Built for the school office, not for the demo
Learner Lead is a multi-tenant school ERP for Indian institutions. It replaces the registers, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups that most schools are genuinely running on, with one record a school actually trusts.
Why this exists
Most school software in India is either a decade-old on-premise install that nobody can upgrade, or a thin mobile app bolted onto a spreadsheet. Both leave the office doing the same manual work. We started from the whole lifecycle, admission through alumni, and built it as one system so a student's fees, attendance, marks and discipline history are the same record rather than four.
India first, not India also
Money is stored as integer paise and shown in rupees. The academic year runs April to March. Invoices are GST-compliant, with the CGST/SGST and IGST split decided by place of supply. Report cards follow CBSE formats. None of this is a localisation layer added later, and that is deliberate: currency rounding and tax splits are the things that are expensive to retrofit.
One identity, many assignments
A teacher at one school who is also a parent at another signs in once. A trust administrator covering fourteen schools holds fourteen assignments on one login. Permissions are resolved for the assignment in use, so holding several never means seeing them at once.
How we decide
Every dependency, vendor and non-obvious technical choice in this product is written down with its reasoning, the file that changes it, and the alternatives that were rejected. It is an unusual amount of bookkeeping. It exists so that the answer to "why is it built this way" is a document rather than an archaeology exercise, including when the person asking is us.
Where the product is today
Learner Lead is in active development ahead of its first institutional release. The web portal and backend ship first. The branded mobile app for teachers, parents and students follows. We would rather tell you that plainly than show you a screenshot of something that does not exist yet.
